What's coming up?

Hey guys! First time not posting a story post on this blog! So the purpose of this post is to give you guys a heads up on what's to come from the Grim Library in the near future. First off going to get a better background! I like the design of the current one but I want it to feel more distinct I also want to do some nice tweaking to the banner to add some links and such to help smooth transitioning to my profiles and other projects. Upcoming tales: Dreadskull: Notably the Dreadskull series was put on hold for lack of time writing it simultaneously with the Sentinels. But this Sunday it'll continue as usual. And don't worry, someone may get robbed. The Demonchild of Maryland: This is a mini series that will go through the life of Evelyn Shields from The Sentinels . It'll be a brief run but it will give some insight on who she was and how she landed in Belham. Tales of Magic: Another pseudo-tie-in to The Sentinels with a new character yet to be introduced.

Just another day in the shop...

A lady walked into my shop today. Pretty lady in my eyes, not sure about how everyone else sees her. I mean she took herself oh so serious with face petrified in a scowl. But behind it I can see she wasn't all rock, she had a bit of fluff. The guy the woman came in with only paid $5, oh yea there was a guy there I forgot, anyways, he paid $5 so I gave them a simple card illusion: having her guess a card and then I would just magically swap the top card so it m

The Sentinels #7 - Broken Mirror

The crime rate is up. Only a miniscule five percent. I expected much more after Rufio's destruction of Santa Maya and subsequent release of dozens of dangerous criminals back on to the streets. The police got hand of the situation fairly quick with even helicopter support but some were crafty enough to use their knowledge of the land to slip capture. Police Commissioner Warren Bassett released a statement during a television interview claiming that he has his best men on the hunt for them as well doubling security patrols of the inner city. Bassett was a man of his word, he had a lid on the situation before it boiled over but for God knows how long. Among those who escaped Santa Maya was Brimstone, the stone man, the former big man on campus before Rufio came into power. He was known for being the immovable relic of a bygone age of civilized gangsters and true organized crime, a tried and true gangster. He was put away during a large bust over a decade ago (it took an entire squad
