What's coming up?

Hey guys! First time not posting a story post on this blog! So the purpose of this post is to give you guys a heads up on what's to come from the Grim Library in the near future.

First off going to get a better background! I like the design of the current one but I want it to feel more distinct I also want to do some nice tweaking to the banner to add some links and such to help smooth transitioning to my profiles and other projects.

Upcoming tales:

Dreadskull:
Notably the Dreadskull series was put on hold for lack of time writing it simultaneously with the Sentinels. But this Sunday it'll continue as usual. And don't worry, someone may get robbed.

The Demonchild of Maryland:
This is a mini series that will go through the life of Evelyn Shields from The Sentinels. It'll be a brief run but it will give some insight on who she was and how she landed in Belham.

Tales of Magic:
Another pseudo-tie-in to The Sentinels with a new character yet to be introduced. He runs a magic shop in New Jersey and as you can tell he's already met Tonya and Raymond. He'll play an important role in the fight against Rufio, but outside of that he'll be in a series that will continue on its own. After all he knows the truths behind the mysteries of magic, it's only a matter of time before things get messy.

Upcoming goals:
Let's get some more writers in here! I'm openly looking for writers to collaborate on writing stories with me as well as for the blog here. My goal is to not only create a portfolio for new writers to showcase their abilities but also create a community that they can rely on to help them through the writing process.

Anyways that was an update for you guys, I will continue to provide you with content as the weeks go by and lets try to make these goals a reality!

The Dreadskull's Crew

D'Angelo Peers - D'Angelo is a complex, hardass character. On the outside he's a complete tough guy who drinks a lot of alcohol and has an affinity for guns and pulling heists. Raised by the great pirate Cain he was taught the ways of the cutthroat world of pirates. A grand design of women, wealth, and infamy is the only life for D'Angelo. He's strong willed and hot headed in most bits but can be a surprisingly cunning mind when he has time to think. He's never to be taken lightly by his enemies and that's a fact most should learn quickly especially given his crew and resources. Slig - Former veteran army sniper, Dennis "Slig" Wolfe, is the straight man of the bunch. A married man with three children and well accomplished sniper in the military. Despite the extremely polarizing lifestyle of it all he finds catharsis in doing a bit of sailing. He's very laid back and chill about life. On the crew he serves as D'Angelo's right hand man,...

Neo Yokio Review

Okay so I watched all of Neo Yokio and my thoughts are as follows: It's okay. If you're looking for an okay parody of anime and pop culture with some decent moments and music it's worth at least a look If you're looking for a serious hardcore anime with deep character arcs, methodized storytelling, stylistic action, and a unique art style you better look elsewhere. The animation is shit. Right off the bat. Egoraptor coulda done a better job if you paid him with a half eaten subway sandwich. I've made smoother powerpoint animations. The fact that this type of product made it off the show floor kills me. It shows we're really in a time where you can release a half assed product with no heart or soul and still make mad money and I hate it. Animation quality aside there's some interesting sequences like fighting a demon skull inside an art painting or a race through an underwater city but there's very few ideas that will wow you. But there isn't...
